Rental and camping close to Shanghai Disney World
We found out that there is a campsite gem close to Shanghai Disney World, and we plan to test it over the weekend shortly, basically on a nice day just within walking distance from Disney. All the campers were fixed and of foreign brands, including their terraces with BBQ possibilities. This time, for our trip, we rented the RV instead.

Renting an RV from Maxus
Renting an RV was relatively painless. To provide information like passport, visa, and local driving license. All the RVs are from a well-known brand in China with a vast service and office network. It is sometimes possible to rent and drop a type of rental agreement. The prices can be a bit high, about 1600CNY/day, but in my opinion, they are the safest option. Also, they are arranging all kinds of RV trips in China.

The advertisement dates back to the summer of 2021, and the prices as well as the included services may have since changed. The quoted price is per person and includes a local driver. If you require an English-speaking driver, you must specifically request one, as they are limited in availability, which may also influence the cost. Please note that during peak season, the condition of the RVs might not be optimal; however, they are generally relatively new. Be sure to account for all necessary items such as bed sheets, pots, pans, and other essentials
RV2GO is a nationwide rental company and can be found in the most significant cities.
Please note that we had not tested this campsite; we only took pictures when renting the motor home for the Nanjing trip. This is a hidden campsite gem.
