Revisiting Leqi Wuzhen Vacation Camp: A New Experience

Many things have changed, not only the name of Wuzhen International camping

On our recent visit to the Leqi Wuzhen Vacation Camp, we found that the site has transformed significantly since our last trip. The first time we ever went camping in China was at this place. Read our first blog here. The experience was not what I was looking for. Now the campground prioritizes the rental of fixed caravans, offering a comfortable and convenient alternative to traditional tent camping. The DIY caravan campground is closed. Mainly to economic issues. What we understood from the owner, first not so many DIY travellers and secondly people tend to believe that as their RV has water and solar panels they do not need to pay. What about maintenance and labour costs?

Very close to the famous Wuzhen Watertown

Notice that the camp is very close to Wuzhen Water town (3.4km) and would be perfect to stay during the visit to Wuzhen. Here is our post about boondocking and paying a visit to the beautiful Wuzhen Water town

New Activities and Amenities at Leqi Wuzhen Vacation Camp

Climbing Adventures: A climbing wall has been introduced, providing an exciting challenge for adventure enthusiasts of all ages.
