Visiting the BOCS RV factory in Jiaxing, Zhejiang
Recently, I had the chance to visit the Bocs RV factory in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, just a two-hour drive from Shanghai. As someone who loves recreational vehicles (RVs), I have always wanted to visit an RV factory and was excited to make a vlog showing how these RVs are made.
This is a BOCS RV contact that we found earlier when we tried to arrange an RV road trip in southern China. Unfortunately, the interest was too low and finally cancelled the whole trip. Anyway, this made it possible for me to visit the RV factory so I’m pleased.
Clean and tidy factory
When I arrived at the factory, I was impressed by how clean and tidy it was. The workers were very professional and focused on their tasks. It was clear that Bocs RV manufacturing takes great care in making their RVs with high quality and attention to detail.
During my visit, I saw several new and innovative features that I had not seen before. These RVs are designed for comfort and convenience and use the latest technology to improve the RV living experience.
Each RV has solar panels, which is great for travellers who want to be environmentally friendly. There is also a washing machine, which makes long trips much more convenient.

RV was filled with all possible accessories
The RVs have extendable flanks on the sides and rear, providing more living space when parked. This clever design allows for a bigger and more flexible interior, perfect for families or groups of friends.
Another unique feature is the starlight roof inside the Iveco chassis. This creates a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, making nights under the stars even more special.
I also learned some interesting facts about RVs in China. For instance, RVs in China are limited to a length of 6 meters. Longer than that requires driving-license in A or B class. Now this can be driven with a C1 class driving license. Cooking is done outside using a gas and electrical plate, which is a great way to enjoy the outdoors while preparing meals.
The RV has serious electrical power under the hood
The RVs have large inverters for the batteries (3000W + 4000W), with 12V/800A and 48V/800A batteries. This ensures that all systems, from appliances to entertainment, run smoothly and efficiently, providing a reliable experience on the road.
For safety, a handle with a light by the door activates if the RV steps are out—nice in dark evenings. It also functions as safety if you have forgotten to retract the stairs, so it is easy to check in the rearview mirror. Of course, according to the latest trend, 360-degree cameras provide a complete RV view, making it easier to manoeuvre and park safely.
Overall, my visit to the Bocs RV factory in Jiaxing was amazing. BOCS RV’s innovative features and dedication to quality make it stand out in the industry. I am excited to share the full vlog with you, which shows these RVs’ incredible craftsmanship and technology. This is how RV manufacturing is done in China!
