This sightseeing spot also belongs to A’ershan National Forest Park, located in northeastern Inner Mongolia, China, spans over 100,000 hectares and is renowned for its diverse landscapes, including volcanic formations, crater lakes, dense forests, grasslands, rivers, and mineral-rich springs.

Heavenly Crater Lakes: The park features several crater lakes formed by ancient volcanic activity, with A’ershan Tian Chi being particularly notable. This lake, situated at an elevation of 1,332 meters, is China’s third-highest “Heavenly Lake” and is surrounded by lush forests, offering a serene and picturesque setting.
Shitang Forest: This area showcases unique volcanic rock formations resulting from historic lava flows. Visitors can explore the peculiar stone shapes, some resembling swords or animals, amidst a backdrop of dense greenery
Dujuan Lake (Azalea Lake): A dynamic body of water that transforms with the seasons: azaleas bloom in spring, duckweed decorates the surface in summer, golden hues emerge in autumn, and the lake freezes into a natural skating rink in winter

Again, this was a great day spent in Santan George’s nature. Magnificent rapids rushed between the mountains, and we could see the force with which they rushed. Clean, well-maintained, and wooden paths took us around the area.
